ऊर्ध्वो अग्निः सुमतिं वस्वो अश्रेत्प्रतीची जूर्णिर्देवतातिमेति । भेजाते अद्री रथ्येव पन्थामृतं होता न इषितो यजाति ॥

Transliteration

ūrdhvó agníḥ su-matíṃ vásvo aśret pratīcī́ jūrṇír deva-tātím eti | bhejā́te ádrī rathyéva pánthām ṛtáṃ hótā na iṣitó yajāti ||

Translation

Terangkatlah Agni; ia condong kepada sumati—pikiran benar yang baik—wahai Vasu; arus nyala yang kembali bergerak menuju perhimpunan para dewa. Seperti dua batu pemeras menempuh jalan kereta, Hotṛ, terdorong, mempersembahkan bagi kami yajña dalam ṛta (tatanan-kebenaran) dan dalam keabadian.
