ऊर्ध्वो अग्निः सुमतिं वस्वो अश्रेत्प्रतीची जूर्णिर्देवतातिमेति । भेजाते अद्री रथ्येव पन्थामृतं होता न इषितो यजाति ॥

Transliteration

ūrdhvó agníḥ su-matíṃ vásvo aśret pratīcī́ jūrṇír deva-tātím eti | bhejā́te ádrī rathyéva pánthām ṛtáṃ hótā na iṣitó yajāti ||

Translation

ঊৰ্ধ্ব হৈ অগ্নি, হে বসু (ধনদাতা), সুমতি—শুভ-বুদ্ধিৰ দিশে ঝুঁকি পৰিল; প্ৰত্যাবর্তমান জ্যোতি-ধাৰা দেবসমিতিলৈ আগবাঢ়ে। ৰথৰ পথত যেন দুটা অধ্ৰি (সোম-পেষণ-শিলা) মিলি ধৰে, তেনেদৰে ঋত (ṛta) আৰু অমৃতত্বত প্ৰেৰিত হোতা আমাৰ বাবে যজ্ঞ সম্পাদন কৰে।
