Sukta 7.21
न यातव इन्द्र जूजुवुर्नो न वन्दना शविष्ठ वेद्याभिः । स शर्धदर्यो विषुणस्य जन्तोर्मा शिश्नदेवा अपि गुॠतं नः ॥
ná yātáva indra jūjuvur no ná vándanā śaviṣṭha vedyā́bhiḥ | sá śardhad aryó víṣuṇasya jántor mā́ śiśnádevā́ ápi guḥ ṛtáṃ naḥ ||
हे इन्द्र, कोई यायावर (भटकने वाले) हमें न दबा लें; और हे अतिशय शक्तिशाली, वेद्या (यज्ञीय) जानकारियों सहित की गई खोखली वन्दनाएँ भी हमें न छलें। वह आर्य (उदार) पुरुष विषुण (विकृत/विपथ) जन्तु के आक्रमण को तोड़ दे; और शिश्नदेव (मिथ्या‑पूजक) हमारे ऋत को घी की तरह ढाँप न दें।
