Sukta 9.71
त्वेषं रूपं कृणुते वर्णो अस्य स यत्राशयत्समृता सेधति स्रिधः । अप्सा याति स्वधया दैव्यं जनं सं सुष्टुती नसते सं गोअग्रया ॥
tveṣáṁ rūpáṁ kṛṇute várṇo asya sá yátrāśayat samṛtā́ sédhati srídhaḥ | apsā́ yāti svadháyā daivyáṁ jánaṁ sáṁ suṣṭutī́ násate sáṁ goágrayā ||
તે પોતે માટે તીવ્ર, જ્વલંત રૂપ ઘડે છે; તેનું વર્ણ પ્રખર બને છે. જ્યાં તે શયન કર્યો હતો, સમ્યક સંયોગથી સમૃદ્ધ (સમૃતા) બની, ત્યાં તે સ્રિધઃ—સંવાદ-ભંગ કરનારાઓ—ને દૂર હાંકે છે. સ્વધા (અંતર્નિયમ) વડે તે અપ્સુ (જળોમાં) જઈ દૈવ્ય જન (દિવ્ય જનસમુદાય) સુધી પહોંચે છે; સુષ્ટુતિ (સુપરિપૂર્ણ સ્તુતિ) સાથે નજીક આવે છે, અને ગોઅગ્રયા—અગ્ર કિરણો/પ્રથમ પ્રકાશ—સાથે સંયુક્ત થાય છે.
