Sukta 2.31
अध स्मा न उदवता सजोषसो रथं देवासो अभि विक्षु वाजयुम् । यदाशवः पद्याभिस्तित्रतो रजः पृथिव्याः सानौ जङ्घनन्त पाणिभिः ॥
ádha smā na údavātā sajoṣaso ráthaṃ devāso abhí víkṣu vāja-yúm | yád āśávaḥ pádyābhis títrataḥ rájaḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ sā́nau jáṅghananta pāṇíbhiḥ ||
અથ તો, હે દેવો, એકમનવાળા, અમારા માટે કુળોમાં બળની સમૃદ્ધિ જીતાવતો રથ ઊંચે ઉઠાવો, આગળ ધપાવો. જ્યારે ઝડપી શક્તિઓ પોતાના પગલાંથી પૃથ્વીના કાંઠા પર ઊડતી ધૂળને પાર કરે છે, ત્યારે તેઓ હાથોથી આગળ પ્રહાર કરે છે—યાત્રાની વિજયપ્રાપ્તિ માટે માર્ગ તૈયાર કરતાં.
