Sukta 2.31
अस्माकं मित्रावरुणावतं रथमादित्यै रुद्रैर्वसुभिः सचाभुवा । प्र यद्वयो न पप्तन्वस्मनस्परि श्रवस्यवो हृषीवन्तो वनर्षदः ॥
asmā́kaṃ mitrā́varuṇā́vataṃ rátham ādityái rudráir vásubhiḥ sacā́bhuvā́ | prá yád váyo ná paptán vásmanaḥ pári śravasyávo hṛ́ṣīvanto vana-ṛ́sadaḥ ||
હે મિત્ર-વરুণ! અમારા માટે યાત્રાનો રથ સંભાળો—આદિત્યો, રુદ્રો અને વસુઓ સાથે, જે એકસૂર થઈ ચાલે છે. જ્યારે અમારા શ્રવસ્ય-ઇચ્છુક પ્રયત્નો પોતાના નિવાસની આસપાસ પક્ષીઓની જેમ ઉછળી આગળ વધે, ત્યારે તેઓ પ્રાણશક્તિના આનંદથી હર્ષિત થાય અને વિશાળ સ્થાને આસન ગ્રહણ કરે.
