svàrjitaṁ máhi mandānáṁ ándhaso havāmahe pári śakráṁ sutā́m̐ úpa | imáṁ no yajñám ihá bodhyā́ gáhi spṛ́dho jáyantaṁ maghávānam īmahe ||

Translation

અંધસ (સોમરસ)માં આનંદિત, મહાન, સ્વર્જિત—સ્વર્ગ જીતનાર—એવા શક્રને અમે આહ્વાન કરીએ છીએ; પિષિત સુત પાનિયોની આસપાસ બળવાનને બોલાવીએ છીએ. અહીં અમારા યજ્ઞને જાગૃત થઈ જાણ અને આવ; વિરોધી બળોને જીતનાર, દાતાર ઇન્દ્ર—મઘવાન—ને અમે ઇચ્છીએ છીએ.
