स त्वामदद्वृषा मदः सोमः श्येनाभृतः सुतः । येना वृत्रं निरद्भ्यो जघन्थ वज्रिन्नोजसार्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥
sá tvā́ amadat vṛ́ṣā mádaḥ sómaḥ śyenā́bhṛtaḥ sutáḥ | yéna vṛtráṃ nír adbhyó jaghántha vajrinn ójasā́rcan ánu sva-rā́jyam ||
સુત, શ્યેન દ્વારા લાવવામાં આવેલો એ વృషા-સમાન મદરૂપ સોમ તને આનંદિત કરતો રહ્યો. જેના દ્વારા, હે વજ્રિન, તારા ઓજસથી તું જળોમાંથી વૃત્રને બહાર કાઢી સંહાર્યો; અને સ્તુતિ ગાતાં ગાતાં સ્વરાજ્યમાં પ્રવેશ્યો.
