Sukta 2.39
हस्तेव शक्तिमभि संददी नः क्षामेव नः समजतं रजांसि । इमा गिरो अश्विना युष्मयन्तीः क्ष्णोत्रेणेव स्वधितिं सं शिशीतम् ॥
hásteva śaktím abhí saṃ-dadī́ naḥ kṣā́meva naḥ sám ajataṃ rájāṃsi | imā́ gíro aśvinā yuṣma-yántīḥ kṣṇótreṇaiva svadhítim sáṃ śiśītam ||
Como con la mano, poned en nosotros la fuerza; como con suelo firme, ordenad para nosotros los espacios. Estas palabras, oh Aśvins, que hacia vosotros anhelan, afiladlas juntas, como se afila el hacha con la piedra de afilar.
