An Exposition on the Causes of Happiness and Suffering

ममार्चनविधिं कृत्वा मम लोके महीयते ।। दुःखमेवं प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छृणुष्व वसुन्धरे

mamārcanavidhiṃ kṛtvā mama loke mahīyate || duḥkham evaṃ pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva vasundhare

Wer die Vorschrift meiner Verehrung vollzogen hat, wird in meiner Welt geehrt. Nun werde ich das Leiden auf diese Weise darlegen; höre dies, o Vasundharā (Erde).
