Sukta 7.56
दशस्यन्तो नो मरुतो मृळन्तु वरिवस्यन्तो रोदसी सुमेके । आरे गोहा नृहा वधो वो अस्तु सुम्नेभिरस्मे वसवो नमध्वम् ॥
daśasyánto no marúto mṛḷantu varivasyánto ródasī suméke | āré go-hā́ nṛ-hā́ vadhó vo astu sumnébhiḥ asmē vasavo namadhvam ||
Mögen die Maruts uns gnädig sein, die uns ehren und uns den Weg weiten, die Schönen, die den beiden Welten dienen. Fern von uns sei der Licht-Räuber und der Seelen-Schlächter; mit euren gütigen Eingebungen, o Vasus, neigt euch uns helfend zu.
