Sukta 7.56
आ वो होता जोहवीति सत्तः सत्राचीं रातिं मरुतो गृणानः । य ईवतो वृषणो अस्ति गोपाः सो अद्वयावी हवते व उक्थैः ॥
ā́ vo hótā johavīti sattáḥ satrā́cīṃ rātíṃ maruto gṛṇānā́ḥ | yá ī́vato vṛ́ṣaṇo ásti gopā́ḥ só advayāvī havate vo ukthaíḥ ||
Der Hotṛ, im Wahrheitsgrund des Opfers sitzend, ruft euch, o Maruts, und preist die geradhingehende Gabe. Er, der antreibende Stierkraft ist, der Hüter der Strahlen — dieser ungeteilte Sucher ruft euch mit inspirierten Hymnen.
