Sukta 6.38
दूराच्चिदा वसतो अस्य कर्णा घोषादिन्द्रस्य तन्यति ब्रुवाणः । एयमेनं देवहूतिर्ववृत्यान्मद्र्यगिन्द्रमियमृच्यमाना ॥
dūrā́c cid ā́ vasato asya kárṇā ghoṣā́d índrasya tanyati bruvāṇáḥ | éyam enaṃ deváhūtír vavṛtyān madryàg índram iyám ṛcyámānā ||
Selbst aus der Ferne, wo er weilt, lässt der Ruf Indras seine Ohren widerhallen, wenn das Wort verkündet. Möge diese götterrufende Anrufung ihn hierher zu uns wenden: dieser Hymnus, gesungen, lenkt Indra in rechter Richtung herbei.
