Sukta 6.38
तं वो धिया परमया पुराजामजरमिन्द्रमभ्यनूष्यर्कैः । ब्रह्मा च गिरो दधिरे समस्मिन्महाँश्च स्तोमो अधि वर्धदिन्द्रे ॥
táṃ vo dhiyā́ paramáyā purājā́m ájaram índram abhý anūṣy arkáiḥ | bráhmā ca gíro dadhiré sám asmin mahā́ṃś ca stómo ádhi vardhad índre ||
Ihn – Indra, uraltgeboren, unalternd – verfolgen und drängen wir mit der höchsten Schau-Gedanke, mit unseren Gesängen. In ihm sind Brahman und die inspirierten Worte zusammengefügt; und ein großer Lobpreis-Hymnus wächst auf Indra.
