Sukta 1.84
क ईषते तुज्यते को बिभाय को मंसते सन्तमिन्द्रं को अन्ति । कस्तोकाय क इभायोत रायेऽधि ब्रवत्तन्वे को जनाय ॥
ká ī́ṣate tuj́yate kó bibhāya kó máṃsate sántam índraṃ kó ánti | kás tokā́ya kó íbhāyóta rāyé ’dhi bravat tanvé kó jánāya ||
Wer drängt voran, wer wird in den Zusammenstoß getrieben, wer fürchtet sich? Wer vermag den wahren Indra, der nahe ist, im Denken zu fassen? Wer spricht von ihm — für das Kind, wer für die starken Mächte, und für Reichtum und Fülle; wer für den Leib, wer für das Volk?
