Sukta 4.14
ऊर्ध्वं केतुं सविता देवो अश्रेज्ज्योतिर्विश्वस्मै भुवनाय कृण्वन् । आप्रा द्यावापृथिवी अन्तरिक्षं वि सूर्यो रश्मिभिश्चेकितानः ॥
ūrdhvám ketúṃ savitā́ dēvó aśret jyótir víśvasmai bhúvanāya kṛṇván | āprā́ dyāvā-pṛthivī́ antárikṣaṃ ví sū́ryo raśmíbhiś cékītānaḥ ||
سافيتṛ، الإله، قد رفعَ العلامةَ عاليًا؛ صانعًا النورَ لكلِّ العوالم. وقد ملأَ السماءَ والأرضَ والفضاءَ بينهما؛ وسوريا (Sūrya)، الواعي تمامًا، يَنبسطُ بأشعّتِه.
