Sukta 53
सं क्रा॑मतं॒ मा ज॑हीतं॒ शरी॑रं प्राणापा॒नौ ते॑ स॒युजा॑वि॒ह स्ता॑म्। श॒तं जी॑व श॒रदो॒ वर्ध॑मानो॒ऽग्निष्टे॑ गो॒पा अ॑धि॒पा वसि॑ष्ठः
sáṃ krāmatam mā́ jahītam śárīraṃ prāṇāpānāú te sayújāv ihá stā́m | śatáṃ jīva śarádo várdhamāno ’gnís te gopā́ adhipā́ vásiṣṭhaḥ
Step ye together; forsake not the body: let thy in-breath and out-breath, yoked in one, abide here. Live thou a hundred autumns, waxing ever; Agni shall be thy guardian and thy lord, most excellent Vasiṣṭha.
تقدَّما معًا؛ لا تهجرا الجسد. ولْيَمْكُثْ هنا شهيقُك وزفيرُك (prāṇa و apāna) مقترنين في نيرٍ واحد. عِشْ مئةَ خريفٍ ناميًا على الدوام؛ وليكن أَغْنِي (Agni) حارسَك وسيدَك، يا فاسيشثا (Vasiṣṭha) الأَفْضَل.
