हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥
Transliteration
hávanta u tvā havyáṃ vívāci tanū́ṣu śūrā́ḥ sū́ryasya sātáu | tváṃ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṃ vṛtrā́ṇi randhayā suhántu ||
Translation
他们呼唤你——那当献之供物——以远播的言辞；诸勇士以其身躯，在夺取太阳的胜利中呼求你。你在一切族类中皆为可战之强者；你使诸“弗利陀罗”（Vṛtra，阻碍之力）屈服，使之被善击而歼。
