这首简短的特里什图布（Triṣṭubh）赞歌颂扬布里哈斯帕提（Bṛhaspati）为“ṛta”（宇宙正序、真理）之初生者：他能破开岩石般的阻碍，摧毁堡垒，为奋力求取的祭主赢得广阔的空间、水、光明与牛群。诗中将他呈现为得胜的祭司之力，其咆哮震达两界；而他的“arkas”（光辉的赞歌/颂词）本身亦化为对抗敌意的武器。本颂的旨意在于祈召布里哈斯帕提赐予突破与开通、战斗中的护佑，并通过正当的呼唤获得繁荣。

यो अद्रिभित्प्रथमजा ऋतावा बृहस्पतिराङ्गिरसो हविष्मान् । द्विबर्हज्मा प्राघर्मसत्पिता न आ रोदसी वृषभो रोरवीति ॥
那位击裂磐石者，真理之初生者——布里哈斯帕提，安吉罗族之圣者，富于祭供。其广大生长成双倍；安坐于炽热之中，为我等之父；他以雄牛之威向两界咆哮。

जनाय चिद्य ईवत उ लोकं बृहस्पतिर्देवहूतौ चकार । घ्नन्वृत्राणि वि पुरो दर्दरीति जयञ्छत्रूँरमित्रान्पृत्सु साहन् ॥
即便对那奋力求进之人，布里哈斯帕提也在神圣的召唤中造就一方世界。击杀诸阻碍者，他粉碎坚固之城；征服仇敌与不友者，于战阵中得胜而立。

बृहस्पतिः समजयद्वसूनि महो व्रजान्गोमतो देव एषः । अपः सिषासन्त्स्वरप्रतीतो बृहस्पतिर्हन्त्यमित्रमर्कैः ॥
布里哈斯帕提已共同赢得诸般财富——宏大的、满含光辉的牛群；此神如是。渴求诸水与天光（Svar），不可抗拒的布里哈斯帕提以光明之颂（arká）击破敌对之力。
