शुनं हुवेम मघवानमिन्द्रमस्मिन्भरे नृतमं वाजसातौ । शृण्वन्तमुग्रमूतये समत्सु घ्नन्तं वृत्राणि संजितं धनानाम् ॥
Transliteration
śunáṃ huvema maghavā́nam índram asmín bháre nṛ́tamaṃ vā́jasātau | śṛṇvántam ugrám ūtáye samátsu ghnántaṃ vṛtrā́ṇi saṃjítam dhánānām ||
Translation
为我等安泰，今呼请慷慨的因陀罗（Indra）——在此争战与压榨之际，于赢得充盈（vāja）之中最具男力者。愿我们得那倾听者：为援助于诸战阵之中之猛烈者——击杀弗利陀罗（Vṛtra）诸障，征服众财宝之胜者。
