ओ षु स्वसारः कारवे शृणोत ययौ वो दूरादनसा रथेन । नि षू नमध्वं भवता सुपारा अधोअक्षाः सिन्धवः स्रोत्याभिः ॥
Transliteration
ó ṣú svasāraḥ kāráve śṛṇota yayáu vo dūrā́d anasā́ ráthena | ní ṣū namadhvaṃ bhávatā supārā́ adho-akṣā́ḥ síndhavaḥ srotyā́bhiḥ ||
Translation
噢，姐妹们，请听歌者的呼唤；他自远方而来，乘牛车与战车而至。请俯身而柔顺相让，成为易于渡越——诸河流啊——愿你们的水势低至车轴之深，以诸流道而行。
