समाववर्ति विष्ठितो जिगीषुर्विश्वेषां कामश्चरताममाभूत् । शश्वाँ अपो विकृतं हित्व्यागादनु व्रतं सवितुर्दैव्यस्य ॥
Transliteration
sam-ā́vavarti víṣṭhito jigīṣúr víśveṣāṃ kā́maś cáratām amā́bhūt | śáśvāṃ ápo ví-kṛtaṃ hitvī́ ā́gād ánu vratáṃ savitúr daívyasya ||
Translation
他回旋往复，立定不移，求取胜利；他成为一切行走者之中的欲愿。舍弃那扭曲的形构，他携永恒之水而来，遵循萨维特里（Savitṛ）神圣的法则（vrata）。
