Sukta 5.33
न ते त इन्द्राभ्यस्मदृष्वायुक्तासो अब्रह्मता यदसन् । तिष्ठा रथमधि तं वज्रहस्ता रश्मिं देव यमसे स्वश्वः ॥
ná te ta indrā́bhy asmá dṛṣvā́yuktāso abrahmatā́ yád ásan | tíṣṭhā rátham ádhi táṃ vajrahastā́ rāśmíṃ deva yamase sváśvaḥ ||
Hỡi Indra, những xung lực bị ách sai ấy không phải từ chúng tôi—khi chúng không có brahman (lời thiêng định hình) thì chúng mới như vậy. Hỡi Đấng cầm lôi chùy, hãy đứng trên chiến xa của Ngài; hỡi thần có những tuấn mã, hãy nắm dây cương, điều ngự các năng lực vào đúng vận hành.
