ज्याया॑न् निमिष॒तोऽसि॒ तिष्ठ॑तो॒ ज्याया॑न्त्समु॒द्राद॑सि काम मन्यो । तत॒स्त्वम॑सि॒ ज्याया॑न् वि॒श्वहा॑ म॒हांस्तस्मै॑ ते काम॒ नम॒ इत् कृ॑णोमि
jyā́yān nimiṣatáḥ asi tíṣṭhato jyā́yān samudrā́d asi kā́ma manyó | tatás tvám asi jyā́yān viśváhā mahā́ṁs tásmai te kā́ma náma ít kṛṇomi
Greater art thou than the blinking one, greater than the standing one; greater art thou than the ocean, O Kāma, O Manyu. Therefrom art thou the greater, evermore the mighty: to thee, O Kāma, I do indeed make reverent homage.
Ngươi lớn hơn kẻ chớp mắt, lớn hơn kẻ đứng yên; lớn hơn cả đại dương, hỡi Kāma, hỡi Manyu (sức mạnh của cơn phẫn nộ). Từ đó, ngươi càng lớn lao hơn, hùng lực mãi mãi. Vì thế, hỡi Kāma, ta quả thật dâng lễ kính bái trang nghiêm lên ngươi.
