Kāṇḍa 9 là một phần ngắn gọn nhưng nặng về tư tưởng của Atharvaveda, trong đó các mục tiêu nghi lễ gia cư (phồn thịnh, của cải là gia súc, che chở, sức khỏe) được đặt nền trên những nguyên lý vũ trụ như ṛta (trật tự chân chính) và kāla (thời gian).
