The Hunter’s Austerity and the Gaining of Durvāsas’ Favor

तमस्थिशेषं व्याधं तु क्षुधादुर्बलतां गतम् । उवाच वेदाध्ययनं सर्वे वेदाः ससंग्रहाः । ब्रह्मविद्या पुराणानि प्रत्यक्षाणि भवन्तु ते ॥ ३८.२९ ॥

پھر بھوک سے نڈھال، ہڈیوں کا ڈھانچا رہ گئے اس شکاری سے اس نے کہا—“تجھے ویدوں کا ادھیयन نصیب ہو؛ مجموعوں سمیت تمام وید تیرے لیے بالمشافہ حاضر ہوں؛ اور برہما-ودیا اور پران بھی تجھ پر براہِ راست منکشف ہوں۔”
