Sukta 9.97
एष स्य ते पवत इन्द्र सोमश्चमूषु धीर उशते तवस्वान् । स्वर्चक्षा रथिरः सत्यशुष्मः कामो न यो देवयतामसर्जि ॥
eṣá syá te pavate indra sómaś camū́ṣu dhī́ra uśaté távasvān | svàr-cakṣā rathiráḥ satyá-śuṣmaḥ kā́mo ná yó devayatā́m asarji ||
یہ سوما تیرے لیے بہتا ہے، اے اندر، پیالوں میں دانا اور بے تاب، طاقت سے بھرپور۔ وہ روشنی سے دیکھا جاتا ہے، رتھ کی طرح چلتا ہے، سچی اور ناقابل مزاحمت قوت کے ساتھ؛ خواہش کی طرح وہ دیوتاؤں کی طرف جانے والوں کے لیے رہا ہوتا ہے۔
