Sukta 9.96
शिशुं जज्ञानं हर्यतं मृजन्ति शुम्भन्ति वह्निं मरुतो गणेन । कविर्गीर्भिः काव्येना कविः सन्त्सोमः पवित्रमत्येति रेभन् ॥
śíśuṃ jajñānáṃ haryatáṃ mṛjanti śúmbhanti váhniṃ marúto gaṇéna | kavír gī́rbhiḥ kā́vyenā kavíḥ sánt sómaḥ pavítram átyeti rébhan ||
وہ نومولود بچے، پسندیدہ کو صاف کرتے ہیں؛ مروت اپنی جماعت کے ساتھ شعلہ بردار کو سجاتے ہیں۔ الہامی الفاظ سے ایک رشی، شاعرانہ نظر سے - سچ مچ رشی - سوما، گاتے ہوئے، چھلنی سے آگے نکل جاتا ہے۔
