Sukta 9.85
सहस्रणीथः शतधारो अद्भुत इन्द्रायेन्दुः पवते काम्यं मधु । जयन्क्षेत्रमभ्यर्षा जयन्नप उरुं नो गातुं कृणु सोम मीढ्वः ॥
sahasranī́thaḥ śatádhāro ádbhuta índrāyénduḥ pavate kā́myaṃ mádhu | jáyan kṣétram abhy àrṣā jáyann ápa urúṃ no gātúṃ kṛṇu soma mī́ḍhvaḥ ||
ہزار رہنمائیوں والا، سو دھاروں والا، عجیب و غریب، اندو اندر کے لیے پاک کیا جاتا ہے جیسے روح کی خواہش کا خوشی کا شہد۔ میدان کو جیتتا ہوا، اس پر بہہ، پانیوں کو جیتتا ہوا، ہمارے لیے وسیع راستہ بنا، اے سوما، پھلدار بخشش دینے والے۔
