Sukta 8.37
क्षत्राय त्वमवसि न त्वमाविथ शचीपत इन्द्र विश्वाभिरूतिभिः । माध्यंदिनस्य सवनस्य वृत्रहन्ननेद्य पिबा सोमस्य वज्रिवः ॥
kṣatrā́ya tvám ávasi ná tvam ā́vitha śacī-pate índra víśvābhir ū́tibhiḥ | mādhyáṃdinasya sávanasya vṛtra-hann anédya píbā sómasya vajrivaḥ ||
اے اندر، اے پوریاں کے مالک، تو حکمرانی کی طاقت کے لیے حفاظت کرتا ہے، اور تیرے سوا کوئی نہیں کرتا، اپنی تمام مددوں کے ساتھ۔ دوپہر کے سوم پیراش میں، اے وِرتر ہلاکنے والے، اے بے عیب، سوم پیو، اے بجربار۔
