या ते दिद्युदवसृष्टा दिवस्परि क्ष्मया चरति परि सा वृणक्तु नः । सहस्रं ते स्वपिवात भेषजा मा नस्तोकेषु तनयेषु रीरिषः ॥
yā́ te didyúd áva-sṛṣṭā divás pári kṣmáyā́ cárati pári sā́ vṛṇaktu naḥ | sahásraṃ te su-apivāta bheṣajā́ mā́ nas tókēṣu tánayeṣu rīriṣaḥ ||
تیری وہ بجلی جو آسمان سے چھوڑی گئی، جو زمین پر چاروں طرف پھیلتی ہے، وہ ہم سے دور ہٹ جائے۔ تیرے ہزار اچھی دم والی دوائیاں ہیں؛ ہمارے بچوں اور ہماری نسل میں ہمیں نقصان نہ پہنچا۔
