आ ते अग्न ऋचा हविः शुक्रस्य शोचिषस्पते । सुश्चन्द्र दस्म विश्पते हव्यवाट् तुभ्यं हूयत इषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
ā́ te agna ṛcā́ havíḥ śúkrasya śociṣaspate | suścándra dásma víśpate hávyavāṭ túbhyaṃ hū́yate íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
اے اگنی، تجھ کے لیے الہامی گیت کے ساتھ ہم ہدیہ لاتے ہیں, اے روشن شعلے کے مالک۔ اے خوبصورت چمکدار، اے حیران کن گھر کے مالک، اے ہدیہ لے جانے والے، تجھے پکارا جاتا ہے؛ گائیکوں کے لیے بڑھاؤ کی طاقت لے آؤ۔
