Sukta 2.34
तान्वो महो मरुत एवयाव्नो विष्णोरेषस्य प्रभृथे हवामहे । हिरण्यवर्णान्ककुहान्यतस्रुचो ब्रह्मण्यन्तः शंस्यं राध ईमहे ॥
tān vó maho marúta evayā́vno víṣṇor eṣásya prabhṛthé havāmahe | híraṇyavarṇān kakuhā́ny atasrúco brahmaṇyántaḥ śáṃsyaṃ rā́dha īmahe ||
اے ماروت دیوتاؤں، تم ہمیشہ جوان اور آگے بڑھنے والے ہو، تمہیں ہم وشنو کی وسیع قوت کے اظہار میں پکارتے ہیں۔ سنہری رنگ والے، اونچے مکھوٹے والے، اپنی دھاراؤں بہاتے ہوئے، تم روح کی تمنا کی شعلہ کو پروان چڑھاتے ہو؛ تم سے ہم وہ دولت مانگتے ہیں جو قابلِ تصدیق ہو، یعنی اندرونی پورتی کا اضافہ۔
