भरेष्विन्द्रं सुहवं हवामहेंऽहोमुचं सुकृतं दैव्यं जनम् । अग्निं मित्रं वरुणं सातये भगं द्यावापृथिवी मरुतः स्वस्तये ॥
bharéṣv índraṃ suhávaṃ havāmahe ’ṃhómúcaṃ sukṛtáṃ daívyaṃ jánam | agníṃ mitráṃ váruṇaṃ sātáye bhágaṃ dyā́vāpṛthivī́ marútaḥ svastáye ||
In the battles we call Indra, easy to invoke, the releaser from distress, the well-doing divine people. We call Agni, Mitra, Varuṇa for the winning, Bhaga, Heaven-and-Earth, and the Maruts—for our well-being.
