Sukta 10.185
Mitra–Aryaman–Varuṇa (Ādityas; guardians of ṛta)
یہ مختصر تین آیتوں والا منتر تین آدتیوں, متر، اریامن اور وروݨ, کو رت (کائناتی نظم و ضبط) کے وسیع ستون اور انسانی زندگی کے محافظوں کے طور پر پکارتا ہے۔ یہ ان کی روشن طاقت اور ناقابلِ تسخیر حفاظت کی درخواست کرتا ہے تاکہ دشمن قوتیں اور بری بات کسی کے راستے میں طاقت نہ پا سکیں۔ اس منتر کا اختتام اس وعدے پر ہوتا ہے کہ ادتی کے بیٹے اپنے پسندیدہ فانی کو مسلسل روشنی اور حیات بخشیں گے۔
Mantra 1
महि त्रीणामवोऽस्तु द्युक्षं मित्रस्यार्यम्णः । दुराधर्षं वरुणस्य ॥
تینوں کا وسیع سہارا ہمارا ہو، متر اور آریامن کی روشن طاقت، اور ورن کی ناقابل تسخیر قدرت، تاکہ ہماری زندگی سچائی کے واضح نظام میں قائم رہے۔
Mantra 2
नहि तेषाममा चन नाध्वसु वारणेषु । ईशे रिपुरघशंसः ॥
ان طاقتوں سے سہارا پانے والوں پر کوئی دشمن ارادہ حکومت نہیں کرسکتا، نہ قریب سے نہ مشکل راستوں اور رکاوٹوں میں، بری بات کرنے والا دشمن وہاں کوئی حکومت نہیں پاتا۔
Mantra 3
यस्मै पुत्रासो अदितेः प्र जीवसे मर्त्याय । ज्योतिर्यच्छन्त्यजस्रम् ॥
جس فانی کے لیے ادیتی کے بیٹے جینے کی طاقت آگے بڑھاتے ہیں، وہ بغیر رکے روشنی عطا کرتے ہیں، تاکہ زندگی مسلسل روشنی سے چلتی رہے نہ کہ اندھیرے میں جدوجہد سے۔
They are Mitra, Aryaman, and Varuṇa—three Ādityas (sons of Aditi) who guard ṛta, uphold right conduct, and protect human life.
It asks for strong divine support, protection from hostility and harmful speech, safety on difficult paths, and steady inner “light” that sustains life.
It can be recited at dawn or before starting a journey or important task, with a brief intention to live truthfully (ṛta) and to seek clarity, protection, and harmony.
