Sukta 10.179
Indra
یہ مختصر منتر ایک رسومی دعوت ہے کہ اٹھیں، دیکھیں، اور وقت پر ہونے والی قربانی میں اندر کا حصہ پیش کریں۔ یہ نذر کی تیاری پر زور دیتی ہے، خاص طور پر دوپہر کے پینے کے وقت، اور اندر کو بلاتی ہے کہ وہ آئے، ساتھیوں میں بیٹھے، اور خوشی سے دہی یا نچوڑی ہوئی نذر پیے، اس بات کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے کہ یہ عمل رت یعنی کائناتی نظام کے مطابق ہے۔
Mantra 1
उत्तिष्ठताव पश्यतेन्द्रस्य भागमृत्वियम् । यदि श्रातो जुहोतन यद्यश्रातो ममत्तन ॥
اٹھو اور دیکھو اندر کا حصہ جو موسمی رسم کے لیے ہے۔ اگر تم تیار ہو تو پیش کرو، اگر تیار نہ ہو تو پھر اندر خوشی اور تیاری پیدا کرو۔
Mantra 2
श्रातं हविरो ष्विन्द्र प्र याहि जगाम सूरो अध्वनो विमध्यम् । परि त्वासते निधिभिः सखायः कुलपा न व्राजपतिं चरन्तम् ॥
نذر تیار ہے، اے اندر، آگے آؤ۔ سورج راستے کے درمیانی حصے پر چلا گیا ہے۔ دوست تمہارے گرد اپنے خزانوں کے ساتھ بیٹھے ہیں، جیسے قبیلے والے ریوڑ کے مالک کے گرد اس کے ساتھ چلتے ہیں۔

श्रातं मन्य ऊधनि श्रातमग्नौ सुश्रातं मन्ये तदृतं नवीयः । माध्यंदिनस्य सवनस्य दध्नः पिबेन्द्र वज्रिन्पुरुकृज्जुषाणः ॥
میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ تیار ہے تھن میں، اگنی میں تیار ہے، بالکل تیار سمجھتا ہوں وہ نیا رت۔ پیو، اے اندر، بجربار، دوپہر کے نچوڑ کا، بہت سے کام کرنے والے کی طرح خوش ہو کر۔
It tells the sacrificers to be fully prepared and then offer Indra his rightful portion at the correct time, especially at the midday pressing, so the rite aligns with Ṛta.
Because the hymn treats readiness—proper preparation of the offering and the sacrificer’s intent—as the key condition for Indra’s acceptance and for the ritual to be effective.
The hymn highlights the midday (mādhyandina) Soma context and specifically mentions Indra drinking the curd/curd-mixture (dadhi) associated with that pressing.
