अग्निर्ह नाम धायि दन्नपस्तमः सं यो वना युवते भस्मना दता । अभिप्रमुरा जुह्वा स्वध्वर इनो न प्रोथमानो यवसे वृषा ॥
agnír ha nā́ma dhāyi dánn apástamaḥ sáṃ yó vánā yuváte bhásmanā datā́ | abhípramurā́ juhvā́ svadhvará inó ná próthamāno yávase vṛ́ṣā ||
اگنی واقعی نام سے قائم ہے، دینے والا، کاموں میں سب سے طاقتور، جو جنگلوں کو ملا کر راکھ میں بدل دیتا ہے۔ چمچ سے وہ اچھی رسم میں آگے بڑھتا ہے، ایک طاقتور قوت کی طرح پھیلتا ہوا، خوراک کے لیے ایک بیل۔
