विद्वाँ अग्ने वयुनानि क्षितीनां व्यानुषक्छुरुधो जीवसे धाः । अन्तर्विद्वाँ अध्वनो देवयानानतन्द्रो दूतो अभवो हविर्वाट् ॥
vidvā́ṃ agne vayúnāni kṣitīnā́ṃ vy ā́nuṣak churúdho jīváse dhāḥ | antár-vidvā́ṃ ádhvano deva-yā́nān átandro dūtó abhavo havir-vā́ṭ ||
اے اگنی، انسانی بسائوں کے کاموں کو جانتے ہوئے، تم نے ہماری زندگی کے لیے وسیل دروازے دھاگے بہ دھاگے ترتیب دیے۔ دیوتاؤں کی طرف لے جانے والے راستوں کو اندر سے جانتے ہوئے، تم بے تھک پیغامبر بنے، قربانی کے جذبے کے حامل۔
