Sukta 1.161
हनामैनाँ इति त्वष्टा यदब्रवीच्चमसं ये देवपानमनिन्दिषुः । अन्या नामानि कृण्वते सुते सचाँ अन्यैरेनान्कन्या नामभिः स्परत् ॥
hanā́mainā́n íti tvaṣṭā́ yád ábravīc camasáṃ yé devapā́nam ánindiṣuḥ | anyā́ nā́māni kṛṇvate suté sacā́ anyáir enān kanyā́ nā́mabhiḥ sparat ||
'میں انہیں مار دوں گا،' تخلیق کار توشٹر نے کہا، جب اس نے اس پیالے کا ذکر کیا جو انہوں نے دیوتاؤں کے پینے کے لیے بغیر کسی عیب کے بنایا تھا۔ وہ سومے کے نکالنے کے دوران دوسرے نام بناتے ہیں؛ دوسرے کنواری ناموں سے وہ انہیں چھوتی ہے اور انہیں جیت لیتی ہے۔
