सान्त्वयित्वा तु तां रामो रुदन्तीं जनकात्मजाम्।उवाच लक्ष्मणं तत्र दुःखितो दुःखितं वचः।।।।
sāntvayitvā tu tāṃ rāmo rudantīṃ janakātmajām |
uvāca lakṣmaṇaṃ tatra duḥkhito duḥkhitaṃ vacaḥ ||
سیتا، جنک کی بیٹی، جو رو رہی تھی، رام نے اُسے دلاسہ دیا؛ پھر خود بھی غم زدہ ہو کر وہاں لکشمن سے غمگین کلام کہا۔
