Sukta 84
इन्द्र॑ क्ष॒त्रम॒भि वा॒ममोजोऽजा॑यथा वृषभ चर्षणी॒नाम्। अपा॑नुदो॒ जन॑ममित्रा॒यन्त॑मु॒रुं दे॒वेभ्यो॑ अकृणोरु लो॒कम्
índra kṣatrám abhí vāmám ójo ’jāyathā vṛ́ṣabha carṣaṇīnā́m | apānudó jánam amitrāyántam urúṁ devébhyo akṛṇor u lokám ||
Indra, for desirable kṣatra, for excellent strength, wast thou born, O Bull of the peoples. Repelling the hostile folk, thou verily didst make for the Gods a wide, secure realm.
اے اندر، تو قوموں کے بیل، پسندیدہ بادشاہت اور بہترین طاقت کے لیے پیدا ہوا۔ دشمن لوگوں کو پیچھے دھکیلتے ہوئے، تو نے واقعی دیوتاؤں کے لیے ایک وسیع اور محفوظ دائرہ بنایا۔
