یہ یک آیت والا منتر وایو دیوتا کو پکارتا ہے جو قربانی کا تیز رفتار لے جانے والا اور وہ جاندار سانس کی طاقت ہے جس سے بندھن کھل جاتے ہیں۔ پیش کرنے کی تعداد (۱، ۲، ۳، ۱۰، ۲۰، ۳۰) گنوا کر یہ رسم کو صحیح ترتیب اور تکمیل سے جوڑتا ہے، پھر وایو سے گزارش کرتا ہے کہ جو کچھ بھی قربانی کرنے والے کو روکتا ہے اسے یہاں چھوڑ دے۔ اس کا بنیادی اصول آتمن ہے: وہ اندرونی خود یا سانس جو پیشکش کو مؤثر بناتا ہے اور بندھن کھولنے کی صلاحیت دیتا ہے۔
