Sukta 10
अहा॒ अरा॑ति॒म॑विदः स्यो॒नमप्य॑भूर्भ॒द्रे सु॑कृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒के। ए॒वाहं त्वां क्षे॑त्रि॒यान्निरृ॑त्या जामिशं॒साद् द्रु॒हो मु॑ञ्चामि॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ पाशा॑त्। अ॒ना॒गसं॒ ब्रह्म॑णा त्वा कृणोमि शि॒वे ते॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी उ॒भे स्ता॑म्
ahā́ arā́tim ávidaḥ syōnám ápy abhūḥ bhadré sukṛ́tasya lōké | evā́háṃ tvāṃ kṣétriyān nírṛtyā jāmiśaṃsā́d druhó muñcāmi váruṇasya pā́śāt | anāgásaṃ bráhmaṇā tvā kṛṇomi śivé te dyā́vā-pṛthivī ubhé stā́m ||
Ah! thou hast found out the Malignity, and hast become, moreover, in the kindly world of well-earned merit. Even so do I release thee from kṣetriya, from Nirṛti, from the kinsman’s accusation, from treachery, from Varuṇa’s noose. Guiltless with sacred spell I make thee: for thee let Heaven and Earth, both, stand gracious.
اہ! تو نے برائی کو پہچان لیا، اور پھر نیکی کے دنیا میں، اچھے اعمال کے مقام پر پہنچ گیا۔ اسی طرح میں تجھے کھیتریا سے، نررتی سے، رشتہ داروں کی الزام تراشی سے، دغا سے، ورن کے پھندے سے آزاد کرتا ہوں۔ بےگناہ پوی منتر سے میں تجھے بناتا ہوں: تیرے لیے آسمان اور زمین، دونوں، مہربان رہیں۔
