Bharata in Kaikeyi’s apartments: revelation of Daśaratha’s death and Rāma’s exile
एवमुक्ता तु कैकेयी भरतेन महात्मना।उवाच वचनं हृष्टा मूढा पण्डितमानिनी।।2.72.47।।
evam uktā tu kaikeyī bharatena mahātmanā | uvāca vacanaṁ hṛṣṭā mūḍhā paṇḍitamāninī || 2.72.47 ||
Nang siya’y kausapin ng dakilang-loob na si Bharata, si Kaikeyī—nagagalak ngunit hangal at nag-aakalang siya’y marunong—ay nagsalita ng ganitong mga salita.
