मा भेत्य् उच्चकैर्देवी तानुवाच सुरोत्तमान् ॥ देव्युवाच ॥ किमियं व्याकुला देवा गतिर् व उपलक्ष्यते ॥
mā bhet(y) uccakair devī tān uvāca surottamān || devy uvāca || kim iyaṃ vyākulā devā gatir va upalakṣyate ||
พระเทวีตรัสด้วยสุรเสียงก้องแก่เหล่าเทพผู้ประเสริฐว่า “อย่ากลัวเลย โอ้เทพทั้งหลาย ความร้อนรนนี้คืออะไร? ในหมู่ท่านปรากฏเค้าลางแห่งเหตุการณ์หรือความเป็นไปเช่นใด?”
