जनुदैरयाः सुरान्संख्य सुराश्चैव तथासुरान् ॥ एवं क्षणमथो युद्ध्वा तदा देवाः सवासवाः ॥
janudairayāḥ surānsaṃkhya surāścaiva tathāsurān || evaṃ kṣaṇamatho yudhvā tadā devāḥ savāsavāḥ ||
กองทัพนั้นโจมตีเหล่าเทพเป็นอันมากนับไม่ถ้วน และเหล่าเทพก็โจมตีอสูรเช่นกัน ครั้นรบกันชั่วขณะหนึ่งแล้ว เหล่าเทพพร้อมทั้งพระอินทร์ก็ยังคงศึกต่อไป
