सन्ध्ये द्वे शयने चैव नित्यं मूढः स तिष्ठति ॥ न स देवानुष्यान्श्च पितॄन् पूजयते सदा ॥
sandhye dve śayane caiva nityaṃ mūḍhaḥ sa tiṣṭhati || na sa devānuṣyāṃś ca pitṝn pūjayate sadā ||
“ในยามสนธยาทั้งสองและยามเข้านอน เขายังคงอยู่ในความหลงและความประมาทเป็นนิตย์ เขามิได้บูชาเทพทั้งหลาย มนุษย์ทั้งหลาย หรือบรรพชน (ปิตฤ) อย่างสม่ำเสมอ”
