इति ते कथितं भक्त्या पृच्छतो द्विजसत्तम । पितॄन्यष्ट्वा हरिं ध्यायेद्यस्तस्य किमतः परम् । न तस्मात् परतः पित्र्यं तन्त्रमस्तीति निश्चयः ॥ १४.५३ ॥
iti te kathitaṃ bhaktyā pṛcchato dvijasattama | pitṝn yaṣṭvā hariṃ dhyāyed yastasya kim ataḥ param | na tasmāt parataḥ pitryaṃ tantram astīti niścayaḥ || 14.53 ||
โอทวิชผู้ประเสริฐ เพราะท่านถามด้วยภักติ ข้าพเจ้าได้กล่าวไว้ดังนี้ เมื่อบูชาบรรพชน (ปิตฤ) ตามพิธีแล้ว ผู้ใดภาวนาถึงพระหริ ย่อมมีสิ่งใดสูงกว่านั้นเล่า? เป็นข้อยุติว่า ไม่มีพิธีปิตฤใดประเสริฐยิ่งกว่านี้
