जाग्रंस्तत्र स चाण्डालो गृहीतो ब्रह्मरक्षसा ॥ अल्पप्राणः श्वपाको वै बलवान्ब्रह्मराक्षसः ॥
jāgraṃs tatra sa cāṇḍālo gṛhīto brahmarakṣasā || alpaprāṇaḥ śvapāko vai balavān brahmarākṣasaḥ ||
“ขณะเขาเฝ้าตื่นอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น จัณฑาลผู้นั้นถูกพรหมรากษสจับไว้ ชวปากนั้นลมหายใจอ่อนแรงลง แต่พรหมรากษสกลับมีกำลังยิ่งนัก”
