Varaha Purana 128.20 — Adhyaya 128, Shloka 20

Rites for the comb, collyrium, and mirror; initiations for the four social orders; and the Gaṇāntikā vow/insignia

त्यक्त्वा वै कृषिगोरक्षावाणिज्यक्रयविक्रयम् ॥ लब्धा च त्वत्प्रसादेन विष्णुदीक्षा मयाऽधुना ॥

tyaktvā vai kṛṣi-gorakṣā-vāṇijya-kraya-vikrayam || labdhā ca tvat-prasādena viṣṇu-dīkṣā mayā ’dhunā ||
